Transporting bulk powder products requires a level of care and a specific type of equipment if the product is to arrive at its final destination in perfect condition. Damac has an established fleet of specialised vehicles designed for the movement of dry bulk powders operated by a highly trained and efficient workforce. The fleet contains dedicated road barrel tipping tanks, ISO modular pressurised tanks, and tipping skeletals of all sizes. We have equipment dedicated specifically to transport non-hazardous powder chemicals as well as white cement. The vehicles are fitted with satellite tracking systems to ensure our customers are fully informed.
The geographical location of its purpose built site has immediate access to both the silo terminal and the heart of the motorway network giving quick and easy access to all major cities. The site is also conveniently situated for access to Drax power station, a large producer of ash, which is becoming increasingly important in the production of cementitious products.
Damac Transport has operated a successful fleet for over 30 years, and our track record has attracted many blue chip companies to select Damac as their preferred transport partners. We regularly measure and maintain the highest levels of health and safety standards as well as on time delivery performance. We operate a variety of different specialised dedicated tanks which serve the food industry, cement industry and water treatment industry.
Each of the drivers receive an intensive induction training programme before being allocated to their various positions to ensure the highest levels of Health and Safety are maintained.
We also act as UK agents for other European companies specialising in the movement of dry bulk powders.
